Special knitting technology, employing two knitting machines that exist nowhere else, produce a design entirely unique to the Zimmerli Richelieu Collection. The result is an air permeable, stretchable prominently ribbed fabric that fits perfectly to the body like a second skin, and readily returns to its natural form after washing. This garment hugs the body like a second skin, becoming almost transparent as it stretches across the body. It is a unique garment in many ways beyond the distinctive ribbing. The neckline sweeps low across the neck and wide at the shoulders. There are no shoulder seams, but the side seams are fairly prominent. The bottom edge is lightly serged in a simple finish, but has a distinctive waviness along the entire bottom edge. The seamless sleeves end in a broad banded hem. | ||||||||||||||||
